The directive applies to teaching staff in all the government-run schools in the sub-division. Sub-divisional magistrate Zaffar Ahmed Lone, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), stated that only heads of the institutions are permitted to keep their mobile phones active during school hours to receive relevant communications when necessary. The circular warns that any violation of these instructions will result in disciplinary action under relevant laws.
